Ducky Power Wash: Wash Terms & Conditions

Property Preparation & Responsibility

Water Intrusion & Water-Tightness
Homeowners are responsible for ensuring their property is water-tight prior to service. All exterior windows, doors, vents, siding seams, electrical outlets, and fixtures must be properly sealed and, where applicable, turned off to prevent water intrusion. Ducky Power Wash is not liable for water entering the home through unsealed, faulty, or vulnerable areas. It is the homeowner’s responsibility to address any known weaknesses in the property’s exterior before service begins.

Surface Protection:
Please notify us in advance of any surfaces that should not be cleaned. Homeowners are responsible for protecting any sensitive items, plants, or outdoor décor from overspray or ricochet.

Access & Water Supply
You must provide a functioning water source and clear access to the service area. If you do not want us to use your water supply, a $300 charge will be added to your invoice for us to bring our own water.

If your property uses a well, it is your responsibility to ensure it has adequate capacity for the service. We are not liable for any issues related to water availability, including if your well runs dry during or after service. A reliable and sufficient water source is required to complete the job.

Preparation Requirements:
Please remove outdoor furniture, potted plants, and other obstructions from the work area before our arrival.
Note: If the area is not cleared, a $100 furniture-moving fee will be added to your invoice.

Window Screens:
For exterior window washing, screens must be removed before service. If not removed, we will skip the window wash, and it may need to be rescheduled.

Material Conditions & Limitations
Paint, Stains & Surfaces:

We are not responsible for damage to peeling paint, aging coatings, or surfaces in poor condition. It is the homeowner’s responsibility to maintain their property and understand the limitations of existing finishes.

Pre-Existing Damage:
We will note visible damage before starting, but we are not responsible for existing structural or cosmetic defects, including loose siding, damaged trim, improperly sealed fixtures, or deteriorated materials.

Oxidation Disclaimer:
Ducky Power Wash is not responsible for any pre-existing oxidation on siding, gutters, or other exterior surfaces. Oxidation is a natural breakdown of the surface caused by exposure to the elements over time, often appearing as chalky, faded, or discolored areas. While our cleaning methods are designed to safely remove dirt, mold, mildew, and algae, they may reveal or make oxidation more noticeable. We do not offer restoration services for oxidation, and no guarantees are made regarding its removal or appearance after cleaning.

Windows:
Basic exterior window cleaning may result in water spots. For a spotless finish, an additional window detailing service is available upon request.

Roofs & Rust:
Our cleaning process may expose or worsen pre-existing rust or staining on roofing or other surfaces. Rust removal is not included but can be provided for an additional fee.

Risk & Liability Disclaimer

Delicate Surfaces & Materials:

While we use low-pressure “soft wash” methods and take care to avoid damage, certain materials may be vulnerable due to poor installation, deterioration, or inferior quality. Homeowners assume all risk for surfaces that fail under standard cleaning procedures.

Cleaning Solutions:
We use professional cleaning agents to ensure a deep clean. While we rinse surrounding plant life to minimize effects, some leaf burn or plant stress may occur. Ducky Power Wash is not responsible for plant damage.
